Welcome to our FAQ page. Here you can find answers to some of the questions asked about our site and help with some common problems. If this page does not answer all your questions, please contact us at customercare@livewebdate.com.
LiveWebDate is a high quality 1-to-1 dating site. Members can access a number of public areas of the site such as Group Chats and Special Events, and can view what is happening in various rooms of the house from the View House menu option.
Members can also book fully interactive dates with high quality video and sound with one of the beautiful entertainers in the site. The unique chat function in LiveWebDate allows members to interact fully with their date.
A Group Chat can have more than one entertainer, and will have more than one visitor in it and will provide a forum where members can meet and chat with clothed entertainers. A Date is kept private and only the person who booked the date can interact with the entertainer.
How much a date costs depends on your service level - at the low end (bronze membership), you pay nothing monthly and dates cost 4.5 credits per minute. At the other end (platinum membership) dates cost 2 credits per minute and the monthly subscription is 60 credits.
Credits are the currency used in the site, all charges and prices within the site are given in credits. For convenience 1 credit is equal to 1 US dollar. When purchasing credits a member is charged in their local currency at the exchange rate commonly available from their local currency to US dollars.
The chat client used by LiveWebDate uses Java and requires a Java run-time environment to be installed in the member\\\'s browser. Most member\\\'s will already have installed Java as a large number of websites require this functionality. However if you do not have Java installed you will need to download it from the Sun website http://java.sun.com.
If you do have Java installed and the client still does not work check that your browser security settings allow Java to run in your browser. Please contact customercare@livewebdate.com if you are still experiencing problems.
The video used in LiveWebDate utilises Windows Media technologies and works best with Windows Media Player 10, however it is also compatible with older versions of Media Player.
Media Player is embedded in the browser with an ActiveX control. If you do not have this ActiveX control installed already you will be prompted to install it from the Microsoft website the first time you try and view video content.
When the video is loading in your browser the Media Player status bar will indicate status (Connecting->Buffering->Playing). It normally takes 10-15 seconds for the video to load depending on the buffer settings in your Media Player (buffer can be accessed by right-clicking on the video and selecting Options).
If you are experiencing problems with the video freezing and sometimes changing from\\\"to\\\" it may indicate that your connection speed is to low to view the video properly. Try viewing different cameras in the View House menu option. If the problems persist contact LiveWebDate at customercare@livewebdate.com.
If you are using Windows Media Player 9 please upgrade it to Windows Media Player 10.
To upgrade go to:
1.- Help (on the Windows Media Player window).
2.- Check for player updates.
